One time, I booked a driver to drive me to the Mien Dong Bus Terminal since it was the holiday and the traffic jam is even worse. The driver felt that I was in a hurry so he asked me “Do you need me to ride fast?”. I was a little bit concerned since this is not the thing that I need. Then, you know what, he let me, him, and his motorbike stuck “amidst the sea of people” slowly, a little bit to move, just because he only know the main route, not others, and had to rely mostly on the map’s direction.

Another time, another driver, by his experience, had no need to ride fast, he “sneaked through every nook and cranny, of the alleyway” and took me to the terminal on time as I expected. To me, that is a great experience, not only not having to waste time on red traffic lights too much but also having the chance to explore many new roads 😀

In those case, speed is not the problem-solver.

I’m not working in the field of Transportation, but as a customer, to me, I think understanding the road is one of the most needed skills of a driver. Not only saving time but creating an awesome experience for customers. Safe & fast.
