Day 44: You have decided to enter a short story competition. The competition rules say that the story must begin or end with the words:
“It had been a very long and tiring day, but Mike felt he had achieved something really good.”
Write your story.

Night began to fall, Mike gently fell asleep soundly with his soaring dreams.Slowly, and he started to have his own dreams.
1, 2, 3, ..
Unluckily, the fatigue made him have such a bad dream.He heard the sound of quick footsteps in the quiet street. Somebody was trying following him, step by step. Abruptly, a stranger appeared then pursued and tried to kill him with the knife in his hand. So afraid that Mike tried to run fast to save his life.
“Tik tok tik tok”
He woke up.The clock indicated 12 P.M.
Mike awoke. Just a few seconds after that, he listened to some weird sound.
Then “Knock. Knock. Knock”.
Somebody was standing in front of his house. He felt almost paralyzed with fear. He sat huddled against the headboard. He could feel his heart pounding out of his chest as his eyes were fixed on the closed door.
“Ring. Ring. Ring”
His phone suddenly rang. Looked at the phone for a while, he decided to listen to it and that was his mom. She visited him and would get to his house at the midnight but he had forgotten about that. Opened the door, so happy that he embrace his mother tightly.
It had been a very long and tiring day, but Mike felt he had achieved something really good.
